Homeschool Math Curriculum for Homeschoolers
I’ll be honest…I’m horrible at higher-level math.
Math is cute and fun when the kids are in elementary school. I can handle addition, fractions, and the like.
But when letters start getting involved…I’m out.
I was public-schooled, and the teachers just didn’t have the time (or patience) to help me. They had 30 other kids in the classroom, I get it. But I got left behind in many math classes in high school.
This is the curriculum I wish I had when I was a teenager.
The benefits of our high school math curriculum so far….
I don’t have to teach it 🙌 Teaching Textbooks will teach the math to your students. Hands down the best perk.
It’s self-paced. If my child gets stuck, which happens a lot in pre-calculus right now, we can slow down and take our time.
My kids test well in math every year. We live in a state that has mandatory testing for homeschoolers each year. My kids score extremely well in math every year.
My child did well on the dreaded SATs this summer.
No brain dumping in the summer. My kids get a refresher with Teaching Textbooks at the beginning of the year, so they never feel like they “forgot” last year’s math.
You can pause your enrollment for family emergencies. I’ve had to use this once and it was a lifesaver.
You’re not alone. Teaching Textbooks has a help line that you can call, and they’ll walk your kids through the entire problem. I recently used this for the first time with my senior. It was so helpful!
Try them out for free! When we wanted to change up our math curriculum, I felt so lost. I decided to give the free trial a chance, and my kids fell in love with their math lessons. It helped me to see if it would “click” with my kids, and it did! I felt no pressure because I didn’t have to pay to try it out. The link below is to their free trial page.
