Why We Chose a Christian Homeschool Civics Curriculum
As Christian parents, we believe every subject should point our children back to Christ. Math, science, and history are not neutral.
And government certainly isn't neutral.
Every civics curriculum teaches a worldview—either intentionally or unintentionally. We wanted a Christian civics curriculum that started with Scripture instead of treating the Bible like an afterthought.
That immediately narrowed our options.

Throughout the course, Kevin Swanson reminds students that governments rise and fall, but Christ remains King over all.
In a culture where young people are constantly told government is the solution to every problem, I appreciate that this curriculum teaches something much deeper: Government has an important role—but it was never designed to replace God, the family, or the church.
That perspective is becoming increasingly rare.

Final Thoughts
One thing I've learned after homeschooling for years is that curriculum shapes more than academics.
