Homeschool Lesson Planner Mistakes
I’m kind of talking to myself here. I’ve made all of these mistakes (and more), and based this list off of myself in order to help you.
As a former teacher, I’ve used a lot of lesson plans in the past. I’m used to seeing them. However, my teacher planner and the lesson planner I use from Mardel (A Simple Plan Planner), is much different. First, it’s much thicker than I’m used to. There’s more space, thus, a larger planner. It has pockets for paperwork, and let’s be honest; it’s much prettier.

Homeschool Planner Mistakes
I’ve made a lot of mistakes along the way when using my planners. Ultimately, I have to remember that the planner is for me and no one else. I tend to focus on not making mistakes, having pretty handwriting, and other things that just make me miserable and not want to plan because I’m afraid of “messing it up”.
I’ve even had friends in our facebook group tell me that they can’t even use their planner because they get intimidated by it. I totally get that. It’s a lot of pages to fill up.
Let’s chat about this.
