Homeschooling During a Crisis with Teaching Textbooks

We’ve recently had to do “road schooling” because of our sons’ blood disorder. We’re figuring things out along the way!

It’s not normal for us right now…

We’ve had to take our homeschooling adventures on the road a bit. Not for a vacation, but rather, out of necessity. Our youngest child, Jake, has to go back and forth to the hospital quite often for blood work and checkups for his ITP diagnosis.

Check out today’s video for one way we’re getting through this. It’s one of those “one day you may need it” kind of things.

My family’s favorite homeschool curriculum is Generations. Generations homeschool curriculum is a Biblically solid, affordable curriculum that your entire family will love. From Bible curriculum to history, every book is filled with God’s truth and fun activities to enhance your child’s learning. In this tip video, I’ll give you practical, and doable, solutions to help you mix up this time of year. These are things my family actually does.

It gets harder this time of year. Being a military wife, I’ve had my fair share of times where I need to get really creative and make solutions to problems like this. My husband was deployed many times throughout our marriage and I’ve had to get creative for my kids to help them pass the time.

I’ve taken some of those things and adapted them to help us during this boring time of year.

Enjoy, my friends.

Until next time,

Soli Deo Gloria,

Mandy
