How Do You Use This?

I started researching keywords and phrases, especially for my fall and holiday lines. I learned what phrases they liked, scents, colors, patterns, everything! 

Many times, they were just hidden within their keyword searches. 

For example, I wanted to make a spring line of floral wall decor. I found the keyword they were searching for, along with more keywords that had the color in it! 

It looked like this…
Main keyword: floral wall decal
Sub keyword 1: white floral wall decal
Sub keyword 2: pink formal wall decal

…and so on

You’re going to do the same thing here.

Keyword reports are a spreadsheet of keywords already being searched and in circulation.

The way to use this is easy. It’s kind of like searching for the perfect audio on Tick Tok or Instagram and making it apply to your niche.

Find the colors and patterns that are popular and being searched, the phrases searched, and look at the things they are trying to find.

Next, figure out how it can apply to you.

For my niche, I’d take those popular phrases and turn them into cute decals for doors. Maybe you make garden flags that you can print them on. So while your specific product may not be listed, you’re going to take that info and try to apply it to your products in some way.

So while your specific industry or products may not be in the keyword catalog, never fear. You’re going to take note of what IS there, and try to apply it to your products. 

Do you see a certain phrase you can put on your products? A pattern that seems to keep popping up in searches? Certain colors? USE IT. That’s why it’s there!

You adapt what’s trending and what’s being searched to your products. You’re bound to find something you can glean, apply directly, or even create!
