7 Christmas Devotionals & Resources we Love

If you’re looking for an Advent or Christmas Devotional, I have your back! I have a list of advent resources for you and your family. There’s something here for everyone with this list. All of these resources are theologically sound, so you don't have to worry about the content.

God Rest Ye Merry

God Rest Ye Merry by Douglas Wilson. This is an absolute favorite of my husband and I.

TableTalk Magazine

I’ve been receiving TableTalk for just about a year now. Every month, this magazine shows up and I love it. It’s from Ligonier Ministries, founded by the late RC Sproul (my favorite theologian). There are devotionals in each magazine for every day of the month, plus articles and wonderful information.

Love Came Down at Christmas - Sinclair Ferguson

We’ve had this book for a few years now. It’s a wonderful one to read to the family or on your own.

The History of Christmas

We read this book with our kids 2 years ago, and I still reference it! Perfect for a Christmas unit study, or just a great picture book, this book has more information on the history of Christmas than any other in my collection. It has recipes, too! Focusing on Christ’s birth, the Reformers, Puritans, and modern day era, you’ll love this book as much as we do.

Behold Your King

Behold Your King is a fantastic resource from Ezra Press. Personally recommended by our pastor, this $2.99 ebook/download is a quick read with your family each day. There are hymns and sheet music in the back, too!

Advent Guide for Homeschool

Here’s a free download from G3! I downloaded this one last week and it looks wonderful!

Campfire Curriculums

This is what we’ll be using for our personal Christmas unit study during the 3 weeks of December. Our homeschool will focus around this Campfire unit!

Until next time,

Soli Deo Gloria,

Mandy
