Homeschool Preschool Lesson Plans
You’re Being Scammed
Dear parents, I hate to be the one to tell you this. but you’re being scammed.
I know this isn’t going to win me any sponsorship deals or partnerships with curriculum companies. Honestly, it might cost me some of the deals I’ve made to make this post. However, I’m not here for them. I’m here for YOU. This is about you and your family. To me, that is worth the risk.
It’s the biggest secret in early learning, and I’m about to bust the doors wide open on it. Why? Because I’m tired of seeing parents get taken for thousands of dollars.
Many of you know that I was a teacher for years before becoming a stay at home mom and homeschooling my own children. I was a preschool teacher and I loved it. It was a joy for me! The children were so much fun. Every new class I had I loved like my own children. When my husband, who was active duty in the Marine Corps, received orders to Japan however, I hung up my teaching hat. My heart has always been with teaching and eduction, if you haven’t noticed. I now teach parents how to teach their own children at home through my youtube channel, The Handmade Homeschooler. I just can’t give up teaching.
But, there’s something I’m noticing even in the homeschooling community.
Parents, you’re being scammed, and I’m going to tell you how.
Homeschooling Preschool Shouldn’t Cost What You’re Paying.
There. I said it.
Want to know a secret?
I taught pre-k for almost 10 years in a classroom. In private schools and academies. And guess what?
I never once was given a curriculum to use.
That’s right. Parents paid thousands of dollars in tuition to send their children to me, a professional, to teach them how to get ready for kindergarten. I never once had a curriculum. This is common practice for almost all preschools around the country.
Here’s the kicker; elementary schools do not care, I repeat…DO NOT CARE….if your child went to a fancy, schmancy preschool. They will accept your child with or without a preschool education. The only thing they require is that your child’s birthdate is on or before a certain day in July or August for the cutoff. That’s it. There’s no “test” to get into kindergarten. Even with no preschool education, elementary schools welcome children in. So…why are we paying this much for preschool education?
Why, dear homeschool momma, are you spending hundreds of dollars on a fancy preschool curriculum for your TODDLERS?
Now, I’m not saying preschool isn’t important. It’s a great year to lay down fundamentals for your child. What I’m saying is that you’re paying astronomical amounts of money when it’s completely unnecessary. Especially if you have a 2-4 year old.
Most of you are living on one income, trying to make ends meet, and being good stewards of your money.
You are paying WAY TOO MUCH for preschool and kindergarten curriculum, and I’m tired of seeing you do this. I hate seeing parents struggling when there is something that I can do about it.
There is a better way.
I’m tired of seeing homeschool parents going BROKE trying to afford to homeschool preschool.
So I’m going to do something about it.
I’m taking my most fun, most engaging preschool lesson plans and putting them in digital format where you can buy them for your family. I’m taking ACTION.
I want these to be available to everyone, even those of you on a budget. I priced them super low and then put them on sale for the launch. Education shouldn’t cost us so much!
We all want to educate our kids, and I’m going to do my part to help you with that.

No more spending hundreds or THOUSANDS on fancy preschools.
Homeschool Preschool Curriculum and Lesson Plans
As a preschool teacher of almost a decade, this is my heart. I’ve been working on this idea for over a year now, trying to figure out how best to help you and families like yours.
I’ve always loved curriculum development. I talk endlessly about it on my youtube channel.
Now, I’m throwing my hat into the ring.
I want to do it better, though. I want this to be intentional lesson plans that help YOU. Homeschool Mommas, fellow Pre-K teachers, you are my heart.
This is a labor of love
Most of all, dear friend, I made this for you.
I want homeschool parents to succeed and to be able to afford it on one income. I’m so tired of expensive homeschool curriculum, aren’t you?
If I can do this to help just one parent and one family, it’s worth it. My heart is in teaching, and right now, you are my students.
I’ll be adding more units and months as we go along.
This is only the beginning of a brand new journey for you and I.
Thank you for your love and support with this project.
Until next time,
Soli Deo Gloria,
Mandy
