Biden Can’t Even Pretend to Care for the Cameras

I don’t usually talk about politics. It’s not my forte, nor is it my favorite subject to discuss. Sometimes though, we have to say something. We must stand for what is right, and what is true. When I saw this clip last night, I was angry. Righteous anger, of course, but I saw red.
This just a day after he joked about ice cream before addressing the nation on the shooting.
The transcript reads: "Thank you. My name is Joe Biden. (Laughter.) I'm Dr. Jill Biden's husband. (Laughter.) And I eat Jeni's Ice Cream, chocolate chip. (Laughter.) I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream. (Laughter.)"
Then, last night, I watched a segment about the Christian slayings in Nashville with my husband. I saw Biden walk up to reporters and joke about the massacre.
He joked. He smiled. He made flippant remarks about arguing with Josh Hawley about it. That if Josh Hawley believes something, he has to believe the opposite.

"I have no idea," Biden responded and when he was told that Hawley believes that Christians were targeted, the president said: "Well, I probably don't then."
Watch for yourself. Check out the smirk.
"No, I'm joking," Biden added. "I have no idea."
What is the rational behind that? Does this apply to all facts? It’s illogical.
In his typical arrogant fashion, he didn’t stop to even think that this may not be the time or place.
There are dead kids. Dead, nine year old children, and he’s making jokes.
Even liberal media couldn’t cover it up. Newsweek posted an article titled “Joe Biden Jokes About Christians Being Targeted in Nashville School Shooting” where they showed video of the “joke” and a transcript of the exchange.
My mouth hung open in disbelief when I heard what he said.
This isn’t about keeping children safe
I want to make something really clear here.
The left doesn’t care about keeping children safe. This isn’t about that at all. Every school shooting the same cycle happens. The left starts screaming before the bodies are cold about gun control to “save the children”.
If the left cared about dead children, they’d outlaw abortion.
This is about control.
As Hillary Clinton said, “never waste a good crisis”. The left is very predictable with this tactic.
What they don’t do, however, is ask why this happened. The gun didn’t get up and shoot itself, Audrey shot the gun. But why? Why did she feel the need to do this?
Pronouns and Jokes
If this had been any other religion, the White House and every other organization would have labeled this a hate crime on day 1. No rational person can argue with that.
If this had been a Muslim school, Joe Biden wouldn’t dream of joking with reporters about it.
He wouldn’t have joked about ice cream moments before his press conference addressing the nation about the shooting.
Can you dream of him doing that?
Instead, our media is too busy scolding people for “misgendering” the shooter.
Let me be clear (I said that in my best KJP voice), if you murder 9 year old children, you give up your right to respect and pronouns. You give up everything. I do not care if Audrey identifies as a toaster, she murdered 6 people.
I hope whoever our next leader is will be a God-fearing man. Someone who doesn’t joke about such serious situations. Someone who will think before trying to argue against political opponents just for the sake of arguing.
Lord, heal our land. Give us leaders who fear you, know you, and love your Word.
