What is a Man?

Matt Walsh made a documentary in 2022 called “What is a Woman?” in response to the transgender movement.

Right now, I don’t care what a woman is. Although I don’t need a biology degree to define one.

I think what is more important right now is asking ourselves, what is a man?

This morning, I watched the body-cam footage from the responding officers to the Nashville school shooting.

THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is what men are and what men do.

They ran toward the sound of bullets, not knowing what they would face. Was it one shooter, or two? Did the person have body armor or a bomb strapped to their chest?

They didn’t stop to think about that. They heard the gunfire, and ran toward the threat.

Men, real men, risk their lives to defend the lives of others. They protect their families.

We saw an example of real men yesterday, as the Nashville police ran into the church and took down the shooter, Audrey Elizabeth Hale.

Body cam footage of the Nashville school shooting. Viewer discretion advised, it’s violent.

What a man isn’t

First, a man isn’t what that woman was trying to project as.

The transgender-identifying woman who walked into a church school with an AR-15 in her hands, was not a man.

The same woman who shot through the glass of the front doors to make her way in….who shot a teacher, the head of school, and a custodian…who shot three 9 year old children including the head pastor’s daughter…was not a man.

Second, The media talking heads, who scolded reporters and police for “misgendering” the woman, are not men or acting like it.

Nor are the people blaming the school and Christians for the death of these people.

The LGBT members calling for “more blood”.

We need more men

We need more men, real, Godly men, in our nation.

We need them to be husbands, fathers, and protectors.

We need more men who run toward the sound of gunfire.

We need more men to teach the young boys of today how to be men.

We need more men who take their families to God-honoring churches. More men who love and shepherd their wives. Men who read Scripture, lead their families in family worship, men who pray with and over their wives and children. More men who value and fear God.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
— 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Thank you, Nashville police department. Thank you for being brave, well trained, and acting according to that training to save lives. You are men.

Soli Deo Gloria,

Mandy
