My Homeschool Planner
Supplies
You’ll need a couple of things for homeschool planning. You’re going to need your teacher books with the lesson schedule. You’ll want some kind of lesson planner (I’m using Mardel’s Simple Plan). You’ll also want something to write with. I’m going to use my trusty falir pens, because I like my planner to be pretty. I’m also going to use this pretty floral washi tape that I found on Amazon. You can find links to them below!

My #1 Homeschool Planning Tip
When making a lesson plan, it’s important that it doesn’t take too much time. While some states may require a written plan for documentation purposes, it may not be essential that you write all the specific page numbers and small details. In the video above, I’ll show you how I save time (and sanity) by only writing the objective, or lesson. I’ll show you where that pretty washi tape will go in my planner, too. When you only write the overview, and important topics, you will get a better idea of what’s going on. You’ll have your teacher book with you anyway, so if you’re like me, it’s just easier to leave out those minute details and take a bigger focus. I can plan both of my students’ for the week in about 15 minutes.

The Overview of each lesson
Tests and Quizzes
Supplies needed and extras I need (experiments, maps, etc.)
Again, by having only the important information in my planner, I get a better idea of what’s going on. I can get a glance at our week
I hope these tips help you with your homeschool planning!
Until next time,
